Groundwork Consulting LLC · Updated October 17, 2026
Terms of service.
These terms cover your company's use of Groundwork. They are written to be read. If something is unclear, email support@groundwork-ai.ai before you rely on it.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between Groundwork Consulting LLC ("Groundwork", "we") and the company that uses Groundwork ("you"). By signing in, connecting an account, or sending us work, you accept them on your company's behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. A separate written agreement signed by both of us takes priority over these terms where they differ.
What Groundwork does
Groundwork combines AI with human assistance to help with back-office work such as proposals, estimates, email, and documents. You send requests through the app or by email, and we prepare work using the instructions, files, and accounts you provide. The service is in an early pilot, so features, availability, and turnaround will change as it develops.
Pilot pricing
Any fees are the ones agreed with you in writing. If no fees have been agreed, your use is part of an unpaid pilot, and either of us can end it at any time.
Review work before you send it
AI-prepared work can contain mistakes: wrong prices, quantities, dates, names, or terms. You are responsible for reviewing anything Groundwork prepares before you send it to a client, sign it, submit it, or rely on it. Groundwork does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or code-compliance advice, and nothing it prepares replaces a qualified professional where one is needed.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us only information you have the right to share, to keep your sign-in secure, to tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused, and not to use Groundwork for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Your data and connected accounts
You own your content: the requests, files, and information you provide, and the documents we prepare for you. You give us permission to use that content only to provide, support, and secure the service for you. Our privacy notice explains what we process, when people on our team may see it, and how deletion works.
You can connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts and disconnect them at any time in Settings or through Google or Microsoft. Disconnecting stops our future access to that account. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms.
We own Groundwork itself: the software, templates we provide, and the service. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve Groundwork without owing you anything.
SMS Terms
Groundwork calls and texts people at your company who give us their mobile number and agree to receive calls and texts from Groundwork. Agreeing is not required to use Groundwork. Give us only a number you are authorized to use. Calls may use an AI voice.
Texts are about your company's work in Groundwork: items that need attention soon, replies to your requests, and reminders about scheduled calls. Calls walk you through work, such as your daily brief, at times you agree with us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. You can also stop texts or calls at any time by emailing support@groundwork-ai.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your number and call audio; we never share mobile numbers or texting consent for marketing.
Limits on our responsibility
Groundwork is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business, even if warned they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to Groundwork is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Ending the agreement and changes
You can stop using Groundwork at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if needed to protect the service or others, or if we end the pilot; where we can, we will give you notice first. When the agreement ends, we handle your data as our privacy notice describes, and the sections on your data and our limits continue to apply.
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will tell you about material changes before they take effect, and continuing to use Groundwork after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For questions about these terms, email support@groundwork-ai.ai.
